Technology for production of the glass bottles on IS machines developed in the cooperation with the company GTI.
It is BB (Blow & Blow) technology with assistance of vacuum in the blank moulds. This vacuum is generated from the compressed air by patented vacuum generator with high efficiency and with self-cleaning effect.
Main benefits:
- quality improvements, as there is better glass distribution in the walls of bottles and significant reduction of settle wave when compared to ordinary BB production
- Opportunity for light-weighting – approximately 10% lighter bottles in the comparison to ordinary BB production
- Opportunity to increase the production speed by about 3.3% thanks quicker forming of neck and eventual less weight of bottles
LPBB technology is applicable on any IS machines with electronic timing system.
